Hosea 11:5-7

^5 [a]They will not return to the land of Egypt;
But Assyria—he will be ^[b]their king
Because they ^(A)refused to return to Me.
⁶ The ^(B)sword will whirl against ^[c]their cities,
And will demolish ^[d]their gate bars
And ^(C)consume them because of their ^(D)counsels.
⁷ So My people are bent on ^(E)turning from Me.
Though ^[e]they call ^[f]them to the One on high,
None at all exalts Him.
